「I booked a single room with twin bed but upgraded to a double bed and got a better room. The room itself was quite dark, except for first thing in the morning when the sun lit up the room and the bathroom, which was nice. The bedroom had only one central light (quite dark) and one bedside light, with no lighting over by the desk where the kettle/tea/coffee were, which was a little awkward. The bathroom was very nice, light, airy and spacious. The room itself was up and down a lot of stairs,...

「Good instructions from the owner for entry Place was very clean and tidy. Lovely location. Only downside was the shower pressure was very up and down and went from very hot to very cold and couldn't get a constant temperature temperature (plus there was no toilet roll but guess that was just an oversight)」

For the last couple of nights of my stay, there was heavy music and loud conversations continuing into the early hours of the morning, which was completely unacceptable for a hotel environment. 「A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, overlooking the golf course. There's an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. (Just one gripe; there was only one biscuit provided... in a room for two? We stayed for two nights and on both days only one biscuit was provided...strange, but true). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.」
