「Description as a sort of lodge is accurate. More of a traditional building than a modern cookie cutter hotel. My room had lovely dark wood floors and a large covered balcony. Staff were great. Breakfast was excellent. 」

「 I stayed at the room at the front of the property which is larger, has access to a deck, comfortable chairs and a table, and lots of natural lighting. The large shower had ample hot water and pressure, and there is a microwave and mini-refrigerator. The AC is ample, and a small fan and emergency lantern are nearby. There may be TV in the future. To address mosquitoes, the manager, Gilbert, provided each night a coil which burned for several hours and there is also a mosquito zapper lamp next...

「With the exception of the loud music coming from multiple day visitors the property was well maintained over the years… last visited 20 years ago. The staff were friendly and very helpful, food and ambience was top shelf compared to the other resorts and hotels in Georgetown. Add this to your list when visiting Guyana. 」
