The staff were wonderful and one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for places to visit after we checked out. Service at both check-in and dinner was excellent. This is a small boutique hotel surrounded by quiet forests and farmland, making it a peaceful place to relax. The architecture and decor are beautiful and thoughtfully done, giving the hotel a unique character. We were happy to support such kind people who clearly...

Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! Eskerrik asko!...and take care of the...

Staff was super helpful in getting us oriented in the area and great communication. It was super hot but the fan and kindness made it all work!

The Hotel is like new if not recently completed. The beds were very comfortable with extra pillows that I enjoyed. The breakfast was well stocked with various choices . The coffee and orange juice were delicious and freshly made. Everything about our was perfect. The hotel can be little difficult to find but well worth the effort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I don’t have anything negative to report. EXCELLENT!

Nice clean hotel with restaurant / bar just below the train exit in the center of town with a great staff

Beautiful location, wonderful service, tasty simple breakfast

Friendly on-line help from staff, property was sufficient for a night, clean enough, and just FYI, it doesn't seem like a hostel at all to me. It has ensuite bathroom. A bit musty and definitely dated, but the price is fair for what you get. Would stay again.

We can’t say enough about how lovely this apartment was! Clean, good use of space, thoughtfully stocked with a few snacks and drinks, excellent location, kitchen set up to be able to cook at home if desired. Great communication with the host. We would definitely stay there again.

We originally only planned to stay one night, but after arriving to the Palacio and seeing our room (vary spacious), we opted to book another night. It was a little drive into Bilbao, but totally worth it for the peaceful location with beautiful views.

Staff provided excellent directions off the camino. Nice restaurant for dinner and nice full breakfast. Beautiful hotel and walking path into Markina. Highly recommended.

.

Clean hotel. Amenities less than expected. Bar service not part of hotel. Hassle to not charge to room

Close by to Guggenheim. Easy access to public transport. Clean. Quiet. Good WIFI. skip hotel breakfast and go to Cokooncafé for the best breakfast you will find in the area.

This place was fantastic! We were a family of four staying in one room and a family of three staying in another. We had amazing staff at reception as well as cleaning. Everyone was so nice, helpful and kind! Will DEFINITELY stay here again on another trip!

Excellent property in a great location where the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel. Good sized rooms and great amenities. Breakfast room was very tasty food.
