「Easy to find and with adequate parking.」

「The hotel staff are very nice, but the hotel is worn and needs some attention. Our door key pad wouldn’t work, although the intrepid clerk finally got it going after 30 minutes. The air handling system only worked on cool and only when set to 64 or lower (not ideal when it was 50 outside). The tub drain was determined to stay closed no matter the position of the handle; the housekeeper somehow got it to stay open. And “breakfast” consisted of little fruit cups and some granola bars. 「The place was perfect for us. It was only a half hour from Oneonta where my son played baseball for the week. It had everything we needed. We had a small request when we got there and the host immediately got back to us and fulfilled the request. We would stay there again!」

「It was really nice to be greeted with wine, cheese, and crackers! The owners were nice and responsive, and the location on the lake is beautiful. But the house felt like it was slanting into the lake, there ceilings were cracked and damaged, and water in the kitchen smelled strongly of sulfur. We lost power, which was not surprising, but I was surprised the owners were not prepared. No candles or flashlights, except a citronella candle.」
