「A well-restored old hotel. Elegant lobby, adequate rooms and comfortable beds. Loved the view of the harbor from our window. My only complaint is the bathroom, which is the smallest I've ever been in. I don't know that there is much that could be done, but it was so tiny and had an interesting footprint for the toilet. Perhaps this is all that could be done with the layout of the old building.」

「I stayed in 2 different rooms while at the Ryder and had an interesting experience with each. The first room was the “budget” room and I don’t think I could have expected the level of budget this room really was. There was such little room that I could barely walk around the room without running into the furniture. There is not one drawer or closet in the room and has a desk an essentially a stool so if you are trying to work, this is less than ideal. The walls are so thin I could hear...

「The location was great; the lobby was really nice, the outside area was really nice, the rooms were good size with queen size beds and a chair and desk and extra chair, small but clean bathroom and hallway. Check in and out was very easy. Will be staying here again!」

「The room was poorly cleaned. In fact, I would not walk barefoot on those floors. I requested to have the room cleaned and they supposedly did. I went back to the room and it was still the same. There was a long piece of hair on the bathroom door from the moment I checked in to the moment I left the hotel. The room was supposedly cleaned three times during my stay, yet the long very visible hair was never removed. Overall dirty, the elevator floors were also very dirty.」
