I hated that the room is almost always hot. The ac is not strong enough to power the entire cottage. "Nice to have a kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave + coffee maker. Nice to cook your own meals. Patio with table and chairs. Great location, close to Jordans supermarket which has fresh friut/veg and meats/fish along with beer, wine, liquor and fruit juices + milk available. This location has a grandfathered lease for access to the ocean. Gated access path is walking distance, about 100m to the ocean. For those in the know, beach access is sometimes hard to come by. "I chose this place because of the positive reviews but that was not my experience. The place does look like the pics and it's clean BUT there's also a very strong mildew odor. There were no screens in the windows so that I could air the place out. The air conditioning was the only thing abating the mildew and so I put an all the warm clothes in my bag and got through one night. I had to lose money and book another room or my Barbados vacation would have been a bust. "
