「If you want a bed for a night and don’t want anything super fancy in the area, choose here. The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable. You really can’t argue for the price. Loved it, I would definitely stay again next time I’m visiting friends in Mansfield.」

「A very quiet location with stunning views close to venues such as Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth. It was also a real pleasure to find the Pleasley Mill was having an open day on the Sunday - the chimney can be seen in the distance from the property. These were some of the many places to visit in the locality. The property provided easy access to Alfreton station. The property was well prepared and provided a good stepping stone for our weekend adventures. The only note of caution is the stairs...

「We were staying here because mum was in hospital nearby and we live four hours away. Staff were very friendly about last minute extension of our stay. Rooms are kept clean as long as you remember to put the little sign out, otherwise staff are very helpful if you need anything.」

「This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed so far by hotel.com bookings! No customer service at all!!! We all had to wait so long for someone to come out of the front office for checking in! And they were not in mood of helping their customers, everything were turned down and ‘NO’! One of the guests had no choice but changed to Double-tree immediately after checked in! The frost desk simply doesn’t answer any calls fm rooms, they just said ‘will call u back’ and hanged up, but never called back....
