Reserved the Omond Beach Suite... pics here do not reflect what we experienced. Upon arrival I noticed beat up legs on furrniture, refrigerator and microwave had visible rust. I was disappointed, yet thought I could deal with it.
Minutes after our arrival, I noticed footprints on the floor. Upon closer inspection, realized the floor hadn't been mopped. Notified the front desk. They didn't have any house keeping on staff at that hour yet offered to send a maintenance guy to handle things.
Went to dinner and came back... could tell the maintenance guy did run a mop over things, yet decided it needed another go. Decided to unpack and go to bed and noticed there were zero hangers in the room, yet the bed was clean and comfortable.
The following morning I let the front desk know house keeping was needed and also needed hangers. After returning from breakfast, there were hangers on the outside doorknob. They were the wooden kind, yet the metal hooks were covered in rust. The room had been mopped again, still not totally clean... not certain the last time the floor had received a thorough mopping. My husband grabbed a bath towel and ended up mopping the floor himself.
The outdoor furniture was pretty worn and dated... the view was gorgeous. Then later I noticed more white dust in the room... dropping off the curtains? Then it I realized it was some sort of peeling plaster or paint coming off the walls and ceiling.
Checked out early and moved to a different hotel.
