So Very Sad

We have been to this Hotel many times before and its always Excellent, (probably one of our very favorites) unfortunately I booked it and then both my husband and I got very sick (fever, lots of meds from the Dr. etc.) and were not able to keep the reservation. The room for one night was $336, which was a higher rate then we would normally spend on one night but it was going to be a treat. We were not able to change the date, unfortunately, because it was a "no refund / no change date rate." I understand the no refund but I just don't understand the no change policy. I understand if the room rate was $99, but $300+ is a lot of money to lose when we had no choice but to stay home.

Nice but no follow thru.

We had a hot water issue, didn't have any. It was late we were tired. It took them 1 hour to resolve the issue. They sent a guy who turned on the water and told me that it didn't work. The staff was non responsive, I had to call 4+ times. Finally Migel the MOD, got onthe phone, he was self important. He basically told me that he had logs showing they responded in their allotted time and that I was wrong. He had bad interpersonal skills, cared nothing about having a guest that was inconvienced. He argued with me about the time frame and basic,y said I was wrong, he was more concerned with covering himself. The property was nice. The room pictures I saw were not the rooms we got. I wouldn't go back, nor recommend to anyone!

Sunrise get away

The hotel was over booked for the ocean view room that I paid for. They did upgrade to a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo which was very nice with a side view of the ocean very clean and lot's of room long balcony. I spook to the manager who was very helpful and gave me another night to stay another time for my ocean view room. Very happy to be going back soon looking forward to it. Everyone was very nice very relaxing great place to go for a get away or vacation.

It was a really nice hotel. Signage was not very good. Difficult time figuring out how to check in. The view from our room was amazing! Unfortunately, we didn't have hot water the first morning we were there.

Enjoyable 4-Night Stay

The room was clean and comfortable and the property was well-maintained. My room had an excellent view of the ocean. Unlike the other properties at the Hammock Beach Resort, the rooms at The Lodge do not have such amenities as a refrigerator, microwave and a range or cooktop. Therefore, you must go out in order to have meals/snacks. Other than that, I had an enjoyable 4-night stay at this hotel.
