"I would not have stayed here if I would’ve listened to the bad reviews people gave. This place is a hidden gem. The pool was great and the food was good. There is a lot of activities to do in the area. I did not rent a car but I rented a golf cart and got around with that pretty easy or Uber. Overall me and my 2 boys had a great time. They are 17 & 9. Definitely book your stay you won’t regret it!!"

"The newly eenovated Gates hotel had everything we needed. Even though its a smaller hotel by comparison, there are 2 pools, a rum bar, a Starbucks, and the 24 Hotel has a concierge. The room was comfortable and clean. Hospitality services kept in touch via text which made it easy to request additional towels when needed. I would definitely stay at the Gates Hotel again."

"We loved the location of the Resort and the "chill" vibe it provided. The hourly shuttle to and from downtown Key West was a GREAT asset and we utilized it everyday. We also took advantage of the bicycles to get to lunch (at Hog Fish) and the kayaks. My only frustration is that we must have missed the $50 daily "resort fee" in the fine print when we booked so that was a bit of a surprise. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to others."

"10/10 will absolutely stay here again! It’s literally a 5min ride to the airport and to get to all the attractions, such as Mallory Square and downtown is about a 10min Uber ride. The hotel has a beautiful and clean pool and hot tub, a tasty bar, great food, a convenient store, an area shuttle, an excursion concierge, and much more! The room was spacious, comfy, and clean (highly recommended getting a balcony!) Overall, my family and I had the most fun-filled and relaxing weekend here! Highly recommend!"
