We unfortunately did not have a wonderful experience. We had a female waitress serve us at breakfast but after we concluded, the male waiter decided to come over and clear our table. He noticed that we were feeding the chickens during our meal and decided to go into great detail about all the “C*cks” roaming the place! Black C*ocks, White C*cks and even some Spanish C@cks. He let us know about the White C@ck he had at his own home. It was especially disturbing that he directed the conversation towards my girlfriend who I was on my first trip with. She was so upset that she wanted to leave the resort. I expressed our discomfort with the desk staff and was told a manager would be in contact. I was contacted the next day, being told an internal investigation would take place and they would let me know the outcome. Meanwhile instead of using anything the facility has to offer, we went elsewhere. We were there for 5 days and didn’t use any of the services provided by the resort. I received an email 3 days after we were gone apologizing for the horrible situation, saying the appropriate measures had been taken with the staff member. Our compensation for a ruined vacation = a 2 day stay on them in the future sometime. Doesn’t seem right to me! I don’t expect them to pay for my trip, but it would be nice if they took accountability for the issue we incurred. I don’t even want my money back! I just want. Adelheid Salas —- Assistant General Manager to make this right!

The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The staff was super friendly as well. They do run a shuttle to and from the beach and Duval street. The hotel really is nice. Not much to do in the area but plenty to do at the hotel.

We stayed at Parrot Key Hotel & Villas during spring break (March 22–26), and overall, my family had a really nice time. My kids absolutely loved it, and the food was a highlight, everything we tried was delicious and definitely added to the experience. That said, there were a few issues that impacted our stay. Our room was noticeably worse for wear and felt a bit run-down, especially compared to my parents’ room, which made the difference in upkeep more apparent. The floors, in particular, were quite dirty and didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned. I requested a room change the day after we arrived and was initially told we would be moved to a similar room. Later, we were told it would be ready after cleaning, but by the afternoon, we were informed that no rooms were actually available. Housekeeping did come by, but the main issue, the floors, remained unresolved. On our final day, valet misplaced our car key, and we had to wait over an hour while it was located. The staff was apologetic, but it was a stressful situation, especially not knowing whether the key had been lost. I also reached out directly to the hotel after our stay to share this feedback but unfortunately never received a response, which was disappointing. Overall, we did make wonderful family memories and enjoyed many aspects of the property, but I do think there’s room for improvement in room maintenance, communication, and follow-up with guests.

This was a very nice higher end resort. It has a friendly staff, is very clean, is well kept and maintained, and has good food and drinks. The four pools with one designated for adults only is also a plus.We had an ocean view Villa, and the view off our back porch was beautiful and usually quiet and tranquil. The downsides, however, were 1) uncomfortable mattress, 2) housekeeping cleaning the rooms up to 6:00 p.m., and 3) being a fair distance away from the high traveled tourist area, like Duval Street. As to the latter, they do offer a shuttle, but it leaves and picks up only at certain times, which leads to a lot of Ubering.

Staff in restaurant were rude throughout our stay. Prices were ridiculous. Food and service under par

I felt like I was charged for valet that I had no choice but to use, the shuttle that is referred to has limited seating so if you use their shuttle you may get left if there is not a return seat for you and it only runs every 2 hours , one pool was shut the entire time I was there. Our room was still being cleaned and we did not arrive until after 5pm.
