"Decor is rather dated. We didn't mind too much. TV. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Complimentary bottles of water,tea/coffee bags, biscuits replenished every day. The bedding and towels were clean, white and fresh. Breakfast was lovely, great choice. I thought it was going to be a buffet style but the cooked food was served at the table. We had a birthday meal with 2 other couples. The food was really good.The chef even came out to speak to us,which was a nice touch . Staff were very friendly and helpful"

"We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year as it's handy for visiting family. The staff are always welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The only thing we find is a regular issue is that there is always at least one item not available on the evening meal menu and this time is was more than one, which was a little frustrating. However, the food was of a good standard and the breakfasts are always excellent. Despite the warm weather, the room was fairly cool, so we were able to get a comfortable night's sleep."

"Lovely historic coaching inn in the centre of Boston, a great terrace overlooking the river. The room was small but comfortable, but there is no lift if you should need one . The room was hot and the fan very noisy and inefficient due to its age. The receptionist tried to find a better one but was unable to."
