"Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."

Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! "This cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed. On Main Street steps to all amenities. Parking was at front door, it was very busy while we were there so we were lucky to get the park we did, in saying this we did not need the car because we could walk to everything. Hopefully we will be back in this beautiful town for Xmas one year."

"Had the best stay at the Rookery! We took our dog, Murphy, he had the best time too! The walks that you could go on around the area were beautiful. The Rookery is an excellent location and you able to get to towns near by. Would definitely recommend!"
