Enjoyed the stay at this tuck-away facility - clean room with upgraded modern amenities. The WiFi coverage is limited to the lobby area, they need to extend it to the rooms.
The room was spotless. No bar in the hotel but so we went over to the old Swan. The electric kept tripping which sent plumes of smoke from the fire into the pub. We were glad we didn’t order food as I don’t think we would have got it with the kitchen electrics going down.
Lovely setting and grounds.
The staff were lovely.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming and the food was amazing. The bedding and towels were lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tired and although an overhead shower was provided there was no shower curtain which made it impossible to take a normal shower. We felt the room was generally tired looking and not as clean as it could have been.
We stayed in a garden suite. It was excellent and very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and it was nice to be in such a peaceful spot. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.
Dreadful weather so helpful check in staff relocated my room close to reception. The original room was overlooking the river so upgrade was unnecesary! Restaurant menu was great, thoroughly enjoyed dining in the evening.
We had an amazing stay at Minster Mill! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and made our stay especially enjoyable. We visited with our three young sons and they loved exploring the grounds and playing outside. It was a beautiful property and very welcoming to our family.
Came for a birthday get away! The hotel itself is lovely lots of different walks and plenty to see. Only downfalls were when we arrived to check in the room may not have been ready yet as the door was already open and there was no slippers or marshmallows on the first night.

Rooms are nice, with great facilities in room and also on site.
Restaurant has great food. However there is an inherent problem with the WiFi connectivity at this location and being in a valley the mobile signal is none existent in rooms also.
For those travelling for business like myself, and working with confidential data, connecting to a hotspot in a bar is less than ideal.
With no mobile signal in rooms is borderline dangerous as you are uncontactable should any emergency occur.
It’s my 3rd or 4th time staying and only once has the WiFi been working properly, so don’t be led to believe it’s a temporary or one off issue upon arrival.
It’s such a shame as it’s a fantastic location and should the WiFi be sorted, would stay there more often.
After a bad start being given a room that was very poor condition and small outdated and in need of a refurbishment, then given a slightly larger room only to discover the bathroom was in poor state, only one person can fit in at a time, hot water comes out of both taps and on closer inspection, carpets and sofa need cleaning, no internet service, these rooms are in the Old Swan, eventually got internet in pub was able to view my booking these rooms are not worth the £240 and were very different to advertised, finally as per my booking we were given a room at minster mill hotel, modern and clean room and bathroom, still no internet, but now can finally could enjoy our break away for husband’s birthday, was given a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates as complimentary, had a fantastic evening meal in the hotel and husbands breakfast was delicious, I chose the wrong dish beware banana pancakes you get dried bananas which wasn’t what I expected I thought this was going to be fresh! The staff was lovely and helpful, eventually we enjoyed our stay, would return but would definitely check the booking before leaving to make sure the stay is in Minster Mill hotel.
Absolutely stunning hotel in the Cotswolds, really picturesque location and great facilities in a super comfy and stylish room!
Very attentive front of house and wait staff in the restaurant.
Delicious well prepared food too!
Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again in the future!
Amazing tranquil location and a lovely property. Warm welcome on arrival and very helpful staff. Dining room not open on Sunday or Monday at the time of my visit, but the Old Swan next door was available for guests from the Mill.
What an amazing stay at the Minster Mill! The grounds are lovely, the staff are very helpful and the entire environment and atmosphere is just relaxing. We took local walks to the ruins, played tennis & croquet, and enjkyed a lovely meal at the Old Swan.
Beautiful island in the middle of the Cotswolds. Two restaurants available, parking included on site and an amazing location at a river. Cute walks through the countryside. Old mill beautifully remodelled.

The hotel was lovely although the bed was broken although we did stay in the room one night before being moved to a better room the next day. The staff were very helpful in resolving the issue.

Minster Mill hotel stay
We were celebrating our 20th Wedding anniversary so wanted a spa hotel and something a bit special. First impressions were very good and we started our afternoon in the spa of which I couldn't fault. The 2 staff were really welcoming and the treatments were fantastic. The spa facilities were really lovely.
Our room wax really nice and spacious...we had booked a suite so that we could have more space and a bath. However, when I went to use the bath, the plug wouldn't fit properly. It didn't even have a seel, so unfortunately I couldn't use the bath! We paid £315 for this room specifically to have a bath tub, it was such a shame.
Beautiful landscape not matched by size and quality of room and food at dinner was very poor

Lovely surroundings but...
The hotel is set into lovely quiet surroundings and has a lot of potential but their are so many little problems here, for 1 no aircon which made for an uncomfortable stay, they did provide a fan but it's not going to do what Aircon would, the rooms are expensive, we had a junior suite and it might as well have been a standard room, broken tile in the bathroom, missing plug in the sink, seems no one can decide what colour the finishing should be it's a mix of chrome, brass, black & white!
The whole restaurant setup is weird meals in the hotel and breakfast across the road? And the wilding experience which we paid £65 per person for, was just weird, not a taster and not tapas, it was like a 3 course meal brought out all at the same time, don't know what the chef is thinking but it misses the mark, One positive are the staff, who are friendly and helpful.
Not as advertised, bad location, no gym as advertised, extremely uncomfortable bed, unhelpful staff, couldn’t use spa even when nobody was using it, slow restaurant, the list goes on. Don’t waste your time or money.

We had a lovely stay at the Minster mill, we have been a few times before the renovation and enjoyed it more the first few times. However, there were some positives this time around, the food was lovely in the Wildling restaurant. The young gentleman serving us was very nice at the restaurant and Lucy was awesome too, she made the evening very enjoyable and was great company!
The room overall did look quite tired despite the renovations and lacked a little character however, the outdoor terrace in the room was lovely. The area is lovely and there are some very pretty places to visit so overall still a very positive experience.
On previous visits we have brought our pet Cat along for the stay as this hotel was meant to be pet friendly, however this time around we were told by reception it was only exclusively dog friendly not pet friendly which we found a little frustrating as this was never an issue in the past here or other pet friendly hotels.
