Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. 「We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.」

「Room was great, lovely spacious bathroom. The beds are really comfortable, decent matress, which is sufficiently soft to not hurt my joints from arthritis. Friendly staff, good car parking. Good breakfast, where they are happy to mix and match for you.」

「We stayed in one of the lakeside rooms which had a beautiful view. Room was slightly cold because of this but reception did provide us with an extra heater. It was my husbands birthday so they provided a gift and prosecco which was lovely. Food was great, lovely staff and clean hotel. Book ahead for the spa to avoid disappointment. 」
