「Artarshia was very friendly and very polite at check in. She has a wonderful personality that put a smile on my group face. The other staff was fantastic also and very helpful. They all deserve a honor for their great work ethics. At both hotels we cross paths with different employees everyone deserves five stars.」

「Upon checking in, we found the hotel undergoing a co.plete renovation. Most of the main lobby closed off and the bar moved to the restaurant. The elevators were also being renovated and taken out of service 1 or 2 at a time out of the 3. I would have expected Expedia to have some type of construction notice when booking. I always stay at the Southbank when in Jacksonville, but this had to be the most disappointing visit EVER!!! Call the hotel beforehand to confirm status of renovation to avoid...

「Only coffee and juice were offered complimentary at breakfast. Our room’s blinds were broken. We had zero natural light. Our tub did not drain, ankle deep in soap water within minutes. Bottled water in the room cost $3 unless a certain Hilton member level. Discussed blind and shower concern with staff, requested a call from management which I didn’t receive. Will return to Hampton Inn (one parking lot over) next time. Big difference within same Hilton brand.」

「Room was clean, one of the queen beds sheets did have a stain along with one of the pillow cases. One pillow was well past it's life and probably was due to be replaced. Overall the room was very clean and the hotel had a great bistro with very friendly and helpful staff.」

「Mold! There was mold in our first room. We both got extremely sick from it. We stayed for 7 days and spent 5 of them sick. They only give you two flat pillows for a queen/king bed and we requested more and finally days later got them. Our second room only had one bath towel but we made it work for the days we were there. The wifi - where to begin? Constantly lagging and not connecting. The place didn’t even have basic cable so it was an adventure. Spend a few dollars more and find a better...

「Room 163: the door does not lock. The toilet paper holder is dangling from the wall, which has small divots dug out of it. There is a bit of discoloration around the tub. The staff willingly gave us another room. Inside door latches/chains have been removed and painted over. The room interiors are dimly lit, with walls painted battleship gray except where they've been scarred or patched. Cleanliness is fine. The interior courtyard rooms are surprisingly quiet. Air conditioning works and is not...
