「Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. The lady at reception (didn’t get her name but she worked 1st Nov) ran around the hotel to sort out the room for me straight away. Room was super clean, quiet and stylish. Had the peaceful weekend I was looking for! 」
