Unico Hotel Riviera Nayarit - Adults Only - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We actually live 2km from this beautiful resort. We had previously had a “staycation” here about a year, which was fantastic. And this year we decided to bring our best friends here for my birthday weekend “staycation”. It honestly couldn’t have been better, from beginning to end. A big shout out to Emmanuel at the front desk, who I was in touch with over the last few months regarding our stay. He made sure all was perfect. Unico is very lucky to have this young man working for them. Also, our butler, Ángel was great too! He was always there in person or by WhatsApp to answer any questions and help us with all reservations. In all honesty, all the staff including restaurants, the lobby bar, housekeeping, concierge, spa were all so welcoming and helpful… you were always greeted by smiles. I would like to name more people we’d like to rave about, but unfortunately my memory is not the best. We did eat at every restaurant and they were all outstanding, especially for an all-inclusive resort. I think my favorite was Kobo. The ambience was great and the food was exceptional. The spa was gorgeous and it was such a peaceful and relaxing space. We did the hydrotherapy session at the spa it was truly an interesting experience. We stayed in a Estancia Suite Panoramica 1 Bedroom Oceanfront and it was perfect. The view on the patio was incredible. I probably could go on and on about this resort. It was so perfect. We definitely see even more staycation in our future."

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta

"Staying at the Sheraton was overall a good experience. I booked the all-inclusive package, and the bartenders were super friendly while the rest of the staff was helpful and welcoming. One thing to know is that reservations are required for two restaurants. One night, I didn’t have a reservation and noticed several open tables, but we still weren’t accommodated. I understand the policy, but it was frustrating to see empty tables and not be seated. Govitas was amazing and definitely a highlight. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. I would absolutely recommend it.My biggest complaint to sell the RCI 90-minute presentation in exchange for a discounted spa day. I politely declined several times, but they continued asking. They got me when I first checked in Employees outside also frequently asked where I was going and tried to sell tours or make recommendations. After a while, it became annoying, especially when I was simply trying to leave and enjoy the area. A few things to know about all-inclusive: room service costs 100 pesos, and TV Wi-Fi for services like Netflix is not included. I paid separately for the spa, and it was excellent—very relaxing and worth it.The hotel store is extremely overpriced, but there’s a grocery store and pharmacy about a five-minute walk away. The pools were great, although the water was very warm in August. The beach was my least favorite; the water was fairly murky"
