"The owner is very helpful with what you need for information for your trip and to accommodate whatever needs you may have. I spent almost two weeks here. The view is great, the climate is great. Uber takes you wherever you need to go at a very reasonable rate if you are without a vehicle."

"Great airport stopover in San Jose, especially if you arrive late and have a longer drive ahead. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Our first night was ok. The AC unit didn't work very well but it stayed cool enough to sleep. The 2nd night however was not good. The AC unit stopped working all together. Went down to reception and they brought up a small air cooler but it wasn't working either and the maintenance guy said he was going to tell his boss what was going on and would be back. After 30 min he never returned. I went down and talked to security and the security guy told me that the maintenance guy had told him if I come looking for him to let him know that he had done all he could that we just needed to report it in the morning. That didn't help that night when the room was. 86°. Fahrenheit and no AC. What really set me off was the guy saying he was going to talk to his boss and would be back and then just leaving because it was time for him to leave and not even bothering to come back to tell us anything just left us sitting there. That's unacceptable."

"The best place to stay near SJO if you prefer a more nature-filled, boutique bed and breakfast experience than a run-of-the-mill airport hotel. They even remove the watermelon seeds in your breakfast fruit plate, served to your door as part of a beautiful breakfast tray. And I had at least 5 hummingbird sightings while eating said breakfast on my balcony!"
