"The Oakdale Inn was wonderful! My wife and I stayed overnight while visiting family in the area, and are already planning to stay at the Oakdale when we return. The facility is delightful, with sitting rooms and clean, comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast, prepared and served by the excellent innkeeper, was fantastic and sent us on our way quite full and ready for the day. We highly recommend the Oakdale Inn, and cannot wait to return! "

"My wife and I stayed here in March for the NASCAR race in Martinsville. 1850 plantation house with lots of old American charm. My wife and I found the place to be super clean. We stayed in the Conspiracy - the bed was very comfortable, the standup shower while small had great water pressure and good hot water. High quality towels here, no cheap stuff. Not a lot of frills - it is a Bed no breakfast, they do offer some snacks, soda & coffee. There’s not a lot of nearby food options or things to do but if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to rest this is it! We will be back next spring."
