「Beautiful hotel with great history. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming even with us checking in late in the evening. The nice gentleman at the front while getting my keys ready, explained the story of the hotel and all of its many transformations which was interesting to hear. We will return again if we end up needing a place to stay in Roanoke!」

「The place was closed and looks like it has been for quite sometime. The outside was run down and litter all over. We drove 5 hours to get there and even had a confirmation number from hotel. Com. Very disappointed!!!!!!」

「The pool was closed and didn’t use exercise room, so idk about that. Our room was not clean, hair on floor in bathroom, smoke detector hanging from ceiling, a person was LIVING in room beside us and would throw his trash bags out on lawn and had visitors throughout the night (loud). Toilet ran throughout the night, breakfast, if you like Sunny D and frozen breakfast sandwiches. The staff was understanding and apologetic. We booked through 3rd part so they really couldn’t do anything. Place...
