"This is the 4th time that we have stayed at the hotel. The rooms are always nice. The property is kept up well and the staff are excellent. It's centrally located so if you want to go to a concert at the Wells Fargo Arena go to the Farmers Market or just explore the different food opportunities downtown. This is an excellent place to stay for the price."

"We got there early and was able to check in due to needing to be somewhere at a certain time and needed to kennel our dog that traveled with us we also needed a little longer at check out and was granted that convenience I really appreciate how accommodating they were for my needs "

"The Hotel is absolutely Gorgeous.The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Zach at the fro t desk. Have us wonder restaurant options with a free shuttle ride too and back if we didn’t want to walk. We were in town for a concert at Wells Fargo Arena and got a complimentary shuttle saving us an Uber ride. Zach is right Best Martinis in Des Moines ( he dared us to proof him wrong- we couldn’t ) Small Hotel (51 rooms) in Downtown Des Moines is 5 🌟"

"We stayed because a grandson was running in the State Track meet. We had other grandkids - disappointed that 2 of the pools were closed, but enjoyed the one that was open. We happened to leave 3 pillows in Room 270. We stopped back after the track meet - about 5:00 pm and no one could find them. Very disappointed about that!! Still hope they will look into that and try to find them and let us know - we left a phone number."
