"Beautiful property, historic buildings with lots of charm. Very clean, and a great location. Full cooked to order breakfast included. The only constructive feedback we have is that the bed was not comfortable. Everything else was 5-star!"

"Sound carries easily from the hallways into the rooms, so your experience will depend somewhat on your fellow travelers. Even one night owl can wake the whole house. The breakfast is quite good, with several nice options. The neighborhood seems safe--it's mainly residential, and probably all Harvard folks. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, but it always seemed clean. Either the other guests were very tidy or the staff were cleaning frequently through the day."

"It was decent for the price. I had a private bathroom there was a park around the corner. Dunkin’ Donuts in walking distance My only concern was it was on the second floor. I had to pull 2 pieces of luggage up 2 flights of stairs "

"Overall nice stay in the showboat room. Couple things though to mention include that the heat thermostat did not seem to work. We like it a little warmer so we turned it up a bit but the temperature did not change in the room and nor did we hear the heat kick on at all during our stay. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't ideal either -also they only give you a very thin quilt type blanket which during the winter isn't quite enough for me. "It was a beautiful area, especially this time of year. Joan, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was wonderful, and there was plenty of everything. If you left there hungry, it would your own fault. The time I was there I felt at home. Joan was fantastic."
