「I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.」

「We rented cabin number one and it was very nicely appointed and had very warm and comfortable rustic charm to it. Location is excellent. We only stayed two nights but would absolutely stay again when needed.」

「DISGUSTING!!!! I have NEVER left a bad review until now. This place was absolutely awful. Roaches crawling on the walls. Stains on the towels. A brown poop looking substance on the wall beside the toilet. Staines that appeared to be either blood or Taco Bell sauce on walls and doors. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Floors unswept. Worms walking on the walls. Stains on curtains. This was a first and last for me within 10 minutes of walking into the room.」
