"The hotel is in a great location for exploring Venice, right by a Vaporetto stop and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Not too far to walk to St Marks Square and a great place to wander from. Our room was on the top floor, very spacious and clean. I think there are probably other rooms that have a better aspect (but we didn’t pay for that!) The hotel staff were very friendly & breakfast was plentiful & fresh with good coffee. All in all a pleasant stay. "

"We booked this particular hotel on the strength of the lovely photographs of the rooms, as part of a 3 major city tour of Italy as a 30th wedding anniversary treat to ourselves. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.... we were given what we felt was the smallest room in the house (my husband is 6'2" and had to walk around the room stooping down to avoid banging his head on some of the rafters) it was in the roof, very dark due to a tiny window, and very hot despite the air conditioning. But, the breakfast staff were excellent and the location was the absolute best, literally 2 minutes walk from St Marks for example. "

"The staff behind the desk and everywhere else were extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and every sets I was really glad I stayed an extra day and upgraded to a room with a bathtub and windows overlooking the canal. It was always lovely to have breakfast with a view of the canal and all of the gondola "
