Room itself was ok and clean enough but the place has a rundown look and had a weird smell . Corridors to rooms are exterior - this is a drive up motel . Sketchy clientele - did not feel safe here . Checked out early .

This property could use an upgrade..No lamp next to the bed. Everything is Run down...Microwave very nasty..Holes in the sheets..For the location, A disappointment...

We could hear what was going on outside our room, but we didn't really hear anything going on in the neighboring rooms. The bathroom was updated, but there was only one bedspread in a room with two beds. It was a very no-frills, inexpensive place to sleep for the night.

Horrible matters, hard hard hard. Not enough pillows or blankets or bath towels. No hand towels. Suspicious framed mirror facing the bed made us think it was a two-way. Icky icky

You get what you pay for
It was fine. Room was clean, bed was huge, towels changed daily. Lots of noise outside due to other guests and the main road. Too far out of Chicago so a bit of a pain but reasonable transport for a decent price so still doable. Staff were nice and price was great.

My hat and shorts were stolen from my room and the the employees didn’t do anything about it. I think it was the room service people. Definitely would never recommend this place to anyone. You will hear sirens and noise 24/7. It’s unsafe and dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Overall the room was clean but would have appreciated a daily visit from housekeeping. Also, it would have been nice to have a Do Not Disturb sign.

Economical weekend getaway
Hotel served its purpose for a music festival weekend. Bed was comfy. Fridge and microwave worked. Shower water was hot, wifi worked. Housekeepers and front desk were friendly.

Hello,Sorry for inconvenience. When you came to check in your credit card had only 70 available, because we were holding 25 authorization. It was a Hotel collect reservation, and your total was more than 70. We still check you in. This happened first time at out motel. We will figure out how to remove 25 hold. So next time any has less money available, we can still check them in.Andy,Travel inn.

definately a modest place
I knew this would be modest, but discovered on arrival that they did not have wifi nor plug in access for internet. had to rely on my phone. THen at 3 AM I had someone knick on the door. I was right above the office, so I think I may have been given a room that had other uses!
