Hotel is located in the heart of Chiba within walking distance to many shopping malls and restaurants. The city itself is mostly locals, and the people are friendly. It has many establishments like Tokyo but without the crowds which made it a more relaxing experience.

Really decent location that is directly situated at the Chiba chuo line, and a less than 10 min walk to the Chiba main station (theres a covered walkway open from ~10am to 10pm). Staff are friendly and the Annex building was new and clean.

Absolutely loved the Annex hotels, they were definitely spacious. Mattress are a little firm but, the blankets and pillows are really soft. Bathroom were nice and clean. Staffing was so very polite and helpful. Would book with hotel again if I’m ever in Chiba.

Staff was friendly, even with a bit of a language barrier. They even helped us recover some sake we had forgotten in our room. The breakfast was delicious too! Only problem is that the USB chargers in the room did not work well. Overall, very nice experience.

Great property! We stayed in the 4 bed family room. It was great to have 2 toilets and the jacuzzi tub. Lots of space for our family of 4, even a large closet! Daiso, Lawson’s, and tons of eateries just down stairs. One stop away from the main Chiba station. No self laundry but we did find a place with huge machines just a 10 min walk away (or 5 min taxi). Breakfast was good but the same everyday. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this property over a week over two reservations. I thank the front desk staff very much for being a traveler to the country and needing translation. It’s right in the train station and by a shopping center which was great. I would stay here again. Thank you again front desk staff you were very accommodating. The rooms were updated as well. Thank you.

Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Laundry service was very expensive so the property is not great for longer stays. The AC in our room did not work and only did heating - our room was always at least 25°C, making very difficult to sleep.

The good and the bad . Good : staff was very nice , the area is very walkable with lots of shopping and dining right outside the door. Within 12-15 min walk to rain station which makes coming from airport very easy . Bad : property didn’t answer a single message on here about leaving bags or earlier check in . The breakfast was pretty terrible and not worth paying extra for . The bed was at best an oversized twin not double and my husband and I barely fit as well as room was very tiny. The worst .. no control over heating and cooling in the room . We called since it was unbearably hot and was told the rooms are all central air even though there is a control and that we have no air con . The front desk person put a door stopper into our door so prop it open to the hallway to cool it off and said no fans were even available to plug in . We slept so terrible I wouldn’t stay here a second night nor return with that being the case .
