「We were in desperate need of quiet time and nature without the tent. The Owl’s Perch was an amazing place to unwind and to rediscover and appreciate God’s amazing creation. The owners have taken great care to enhance its natural beauty with a little good humor thrown in.」

「Awesome secluded place to stay. Very cozy and clean. I am very glad we brought our “camping bin” however that has a lot of supplies, like utensils, paper plates, pan, spatula etc. We cooked all our meals on the grill. The kitchenette is nice but very small. The only sink is in the bathroom. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon (25 min drive) which was the reason for our trip. If you bring a trailer DO NOT try and take it to your cabin. Park outside the gate」

「Beautiful lodge and property. I was looking for something tucked in the mountains that would accomodate my dog. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Mountain cabin was clean and very comfortable. Got some.nreakfsst sandwiches in the morning, amd the biscuits were delicious. There are also miles of hiking trails on and near the property, and a gorgeous river. 」

「Very cozy little cabin/trailer! Sulfer water was the only thing unpleasant. Owners had bottled water in fridge which helped out. Driveway is gravel and a lottle iffu on motorcycle. Nice place over all and would stsy again.」

「Great place to eat, drink and commune with nature!」

「Nice size room, very comfortable beds. Bill was very accommodating. We were traveling on motorcycles and got caught in bad weather on the way there. We were afraid we wouldn't make it before he closed. He told me he would leave the key out for us and we could settle up with him in the morning. This motel is old but clean. No bugs!!! Great location and covered parking for motorcycles. 」

「Our stay was great. Our room was comfortably and very clean. The bed sunk in a little but ither than that, it was a beautiful room. The second day there was very little to eat in the breakfast area by 7:30? Day 1 was all kinds of choices. Maybe a big group cane through first thing? We lived visiting with the lobby dog, Bush. So sweet. All of the staff was wonderful. We'll be back.」
