Overall a very cute property, a few cosmetic things need to be tended to. The LVP flooring was coming up in our room and we frequently stubbed toes because of it, we did mention that to the staff. But the shower was also pretty run down, and water pressure and temperature we not great. Also would have loved to know that the hot tub was out of order before I dipped my toes in. I would stay here again and we are considering an event in this location.

The room was in a good condition and very spacious for a family. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the Smokey’s and Cades Cove. However, overall I was disappointed with the hotel and I feel this came from my expectations, based on the social media posts. The curtains barely covered the window, so I felt people could look into our room on the 1st floor. The breakfast was poor, the room for breakfast was very small and not tidied. The hotel was a little difficult to navigate around and was much bigger than I had expected. I did not find the staff I interacted with welcoming or friendly.

I really had great expectations for Tremont. The pictures looked great. Was told that the rooms were newly renovated. The room appearance was acceptable. The fine details turned the stay into a nightmare. The first problem was our tub would not drain. No phone or number in the room to call and report. Finally found a number in the check in sheet only to find out it was to a call center. Probably in Asia. We were assured it would be taken care of. Second day and tub still was not fixed. I attempted to fix it myself. Drain was clogged with hair. I was unable to completely clear the drain. Third day the cleaning staff did not leave any toilet paper. I called three times to no avail. Fourth day i went to the office and explained all the problems. Lady gave us toilet paper and sent maintenance to fix the drain. Had staff appropriately responded, this might be a positive review. I would avoid this place if at all possible.

It’s really sad , because we thought this would be a nice little stay. Anything but. First they put us in a room that wasn’t ready. The person cleaning was very rude and said it’ll be ready in 30 mins. Apparently that’s acceptable there. Also the key tub was not operating normal and had a broken unusable drain plug .

Room configuration. We were in a suite. Only one AC unit and one fan. Both were in the non sleeping room. There was no movement of air in the sleeping room. At least put one of the two devices in the sleeping room so the air isn’t stagnant. Early check in fee. Shortly after booking we were contacted by staff to ask about time of arrival. They offered for an early check in but she failed to mention there was an early check in fee of $25. It wasn’t until I arrived to check in that I was told about the fee. I never requested an early check in but was offered one. I would have been happy to pay the $25 had I been given this information prior to showing up. Hopefully this was a communication misshap rather than a deliberate attempt to get an extra $25.

There was some dirt on table in room or some kind of powder. I took a wash rag and cleaned it up. And there was some black hairs in the shower.

I booked 2 rooms, we arrived at 7pm and we were told the rooms were not ready and not been cleaned, so we went off to get something to eat. We returned 1 1/2 hours later to be told they can't clean the rooms and we're refunding me. The girl on reception was very unhelpful. I can't comment on the property, but it did look quite nice from the outside.

The only bad thing I have to say about the property is that they were not ready for us to check in and we arrived after 5 PM. However, the room was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. I would stay here again. The paved paths were nice. You could walk all around the property. Good value for the money.

There is plenty of space in the room and the design and decor is nice. The fireplace is a great feature. The room itself smells bad, like a mix of cigarette smoke and mildew. When we turned on the heat the whole room immediately smelled like something had died, so that went off right away. The shower is old, outdated and feels dirty. There is no body wash available, although they did leave ONE bar of soap, which we initially had to share for showers and hand washing. Also, we prior to check in we received and email from the "owner" who said that if anything was not satisfactory to please let him know right away at his "personal" email address, so we did. We never heard back.
