"Appreciate the location as you are right there at the beach. Do know you have to cross a large creek to get to the ocean. Was a pretty property. There are stairs to get to your room. They are making updates so the shower was nice and the kitchen. Room did smell like cigarette smoke so that was a negative. Staff was friendly when we spoke w them about it."

"Older hotel but right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean with balcony. Smoked salmon chowder every night with warm cookies provided by hotel staff. Warmed pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to downtown and shopping. What more can you ask for. As an older widow I felt very secure with locked entrances and staff are all friendly and very helpful. My go to stay in Newport.
