I understand having a family with children but the hotel was almost completely empty during those days and it seemed like all the rooms that did have people in them were all together. 「The staff were wonderful! We stayed over Independence Day, and my son wanted to light fireworks. He asked and they said that would be fine. We had a great time, enjoying the 4th, and shut down the noise by 10pm for our neighbors. My adult sons loved the upstairs where they slept. We struggled a bit more with getting the temperature just right in our room, but that may have been user error because the heating worked. We just got too warm in the middle of the night.」

「While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed.
