「Great place! Enjoy the stay」

「This motel has recently been completely redone so it’s literally like brand new. The room was large with a small kitchenette, a large bathroom with plenty of counter space. Just across the highway is old town with multiple restaurants including one with a coffee shop that opens at 6am and serves great coffee with an array of breakfast options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I wish we could have spent another night but time wouldn’t allow. A gem of a place!」

「Upon checking in and getting a first floor room and realizing it was directly at the foot of the stairs, I requested a room change for the second floor. They said that they were limited to a certain amount of room changes a month so this was not possible. I've never heard of such a thing? The cleanliness of the rooms was atrocious. 「My wife and I were very hesitant when we first arrived. The trailers in the park around the hotel were in pretty rough shape and there very long-term. So much so, that I would be surprised if many of them were road worthy. Despite this, the room was old but well maintained. Everything worked including the internet which I found is quite rare among the hotels in the PNW. It was really nice to have a little kitchen in the room.」

「There was no place to hang your clothes, we had to use the shower rod. I've seen dumps that at least had a place to hang your clothes.」

Upon arrival and showing my Expedia Booking and proper Identification, I was told by the young man at the counter that "we do not accept online payments, all payments must be made in person". I again presented my booking #, as well as the digital receipt, and showed him the charge debiting my bank account. He spouted the same ridiculousness again, and... I gave up.
