「A great value with a friendly staff」

「This hotel is located right next to the beach and many other great restaurants in town. However, the facilities are dated: the bed will move, not enough tables in the room, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned and really really thin wall. You have to walk down to the lobby if you wish to borrow a hair dryer. Although my reservation clearly indicated that "breakfast included", all they had was some fruits and cookies. The lady at the reception desk in the morning was really unfriendly, she did not...

「The staff was very kind and helpful but Motel 6/Studio 6 Carlsbad is not maintaining the property. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable, very old and lumpy. AC/Heater, some lights, phone, clock and TV didn't work. Pool hasn't worked for over 1 year. Kitchenette had no frying pan or spatula, also lacked the correct amount of dishes, cups, silverware and basic cooking supplies.
