Grand Hotel of Cape May
8/10 Good
"The staff that check you in are all so helpful. They explain things thoroughly. I love that they offer chairs, towel and umbrella and have people that can help you set that up. I didn't take advantage but they offer the use of their bikes. That is a real plus for those that want to go a little further from the hotel or for a little exercise. The location is perfect - right on Beach Ave. where the boardwalk is and the beach is right across the street. The only reason I gave a four is the noise level at night. Not sure but I think it was people still at the pool or people were just out. Wish they have some kind of policy."

"The staff were amazing. We had car issues the day we were supposed to check out and to our surprise had to stay another night and they were so understanding and helpful. The location is amazing right off beach and boardwalk!"

"Somewhat clean establishment. Towels, mattresses and pillows would gain in being renewed and refreshed. Balcony lighting is very bright at night and curtains don't allow full blockage of light. You have the impression that it's 3:00pm, even at midnight."
Ala Moana Motel

"I was pleasantly surprised with how nice our room was. It was fully updated and most importantly, clean. I didn't realize that I had booked an efficiency room. We didn't use the kitchen but it had everything that you could want or need including a full size refrigerator. We had a private balcony and it was such a pleasure to sit and relax there. Also, parking wasn't terrible unlike most Jersey Shore motels at which it's usually a cramped nightmare. The beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. We were a family of 4 with 2 queen beds but only 3 pillows on each bed. We all needed 2 of these pillows to be comfortable. When I went to the office to ask for 2 more pillows I got some weird song and dance between the two employees behind the counter about pillows. In the end I left the office with the promise of finding one more pillow and bringing it to my room. Never happened. Whatever, it's so not a big deal but it's such a small thing and such a common request to be so weird about it. I have to say everybody was very nice though. All that being said, this is my new go to motel in Wildwood. We will be back."
