Food- Excellent portion sizes, a lot of variety, food is high quality. Rooms- very clean, well maintained, no issues with rooms Service- the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and respectful Overall experience- no less than a 5 star. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go to Punta Cana!

Everything was amazing! The only issue was some other guests were screaming and fighting every day we were there. We paid a lot for the junior club suite swim up but had to deal with all that noise from them and could not really use the swim up pool because they were fighting on their balcony.. Our concierge tried to handle it but could only do so much…..

Greatest stay ever...but
Everything was great, except for one small hiccup at the beginning of the trip. Thankfully that hiccup was not an indication of things to come. I messaged the property via hotels.com announcing our arrival time between 1:30 and 2 pm. We ended up arriving almost at 3 pm, which is check-in time. Since we were a big group, with 3 rooms, I wanted to make our presence known and to have the rooms ready earlier, or at the very least on time. 2 out of the 3 rooms were available. We waited until 4:30 pm (because I went in person for the 2nd time complaining about our 3rd room), for the 3rd room. Very unfortunate there. Other than that, it was great. All the rooms were Club level (which made the arrival that much rougher to experience). This meant, top shelf, a few restaurants and bars we had access to that others couldn't. Access to a private pool and jacuzzi. Luis, our concierge butler did a great job in helping us out and from time to time would check up on us. Everyone was very helpful, no matter where we went and it didn't matter if we were club level or not, they were just overall kind and helpful. They have many restaurants, plus snack bars, plus grilling at the pool area. Sports bar, buffet for all day eating, Italian, Japanese, Tahitian and Peruvian restaurants were a few of the ones we ate from. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for sunsets and sunrise. Even there hotel shop/store is big and has a lot of clothing options, just in case.

Not please w/ check-out. Hyatt kept my credit card
Upon check-out, the staff asked for my credit to pay one charge. They prinetd my receipt, provided me with a "departure" piece of paper which is useless (why do I need this?!?) othe than to provide tips to the staff when they ask for the departure paper, and then they requested a bellman come over when I only had one bag which I could easily handle. They were so focused on these details, they forgot to give me my credit card back! This angered me when I arrived at the airport to attempted to pay for something and realized I did not have the card. I called the hotel and they asked if "I" could come back to get it?!? Really, you kept my credit card but now you're asking me to come get it?!!. They said that they didn't have anyone that could drive the card to me. This is not what I would call good customer service. I also tried to provide my Hyatt number to receive points for me stay and they said they couldn't take it then and that I should call later and talk to Hyatt. C.mon, really?!?

The candid view of the sunrise is fascinating, the restaurant options are varied and of very good quality. A very quiet and pleasant place to spend a good vacation…The attention of the staff was very pleasant. Overall, it was a rewarding experience for my wife and I…!!!
