「If you have low expectations you will be fine. Theres nowhere to set any toiletries and theres nowhere to hang towels you intend to use again. The coffee pot is awkwardly placed on top of a microwave on top of a small fridge. The flooring felt dirty so we felt we had to wear shoes inside.」

We take a long distance and tiring flight from Taiwan to YVR. And it's such a pleasure to stay in this hotel for two nights. The cozy room did comfort our jet lag. 「Stayed here a few times. Usually breakfast is fully stocked, this time they seemed quite behind on restocking the hot holds with bacon, sausage, egg, etc. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Missed owen at the front reception, he was always our favorite when we stayed here in the past. Hot tub amd pool/slide was nice to have.」

「The room with 2 double beds had 2 separate rooms for each bed which was unexpected but good for us. Did not use cooking facilities but they looked good. Comfortable beds. Parking outside door. Walked to Port Alberni Brewing Company for supper.」

「The hotel , the room & the staff were fine. I wasn't very impressed having to pay $50 to check-in early. I had advised them a week before that we were attending a celebration of life that started at noon so they had plenty of time to have the room cleaned first. we were very close to the lobby so it was quite noisy and the ceilings are paper thin so don't stay on the ground floor. 」
