A budget conscious hotel. An older motel but clean. For the price it is a good deal. Good location with easy access to everything. This was our second time staying there and will likely stay there again when we are visiting the Courtenay area.

It doea meet your needs as a motel when you are passing by. The staff is very nice. It is in a nice location. The floors in our room were slightly slanting and there was interesting electerical wiring happening. The beds are very very hard. 2 pillows on the bed.

This was excellent for our one night stay. I was most impressed with the cleanliness. The room felt fresh even though it is an older motel. The bedding (crisp, clean) and towels ( thick, fluffy , fresh, clean) were wonderful! The pillows themselves could be updated. Our room was ready for occupation when we arrived a bit early. In spite of being on a main road, it was peaceful and quiet for our night’s sleep. We would suggest a new bath mat as ours didn’t grip the tub well and made exiting the tub/shower a bit precarious.

There was a clear indication that there has been very little maintenance and upgrades in the rooms. Bed was basic but the coverings were old and worn.
