「Arbitrary charges Poor service attitude」

「The staff was very helpful when I change my stay from 3 night to 2 nights. They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement. The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good. 「Really enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly. Nice location, off the lake. Just a couple of issues. Tough to locate some basic necessities, like cups, dishes silverware. But if you ask staff, they will definitely help. Rooms a little small and slanted. Restaurant only opened Thursday through Sunday, and I was not aware of this. Invited my in laws to dinner there on a Wednesday, only to find out after they arrived, that the restaurant was closed.」

「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. 「I reserved a room in April for June 6 and 7. We get the 15 minutes after check in time and told there are no rooms. I told the lady I had a reservation and she says "no room". We did this a few times figuring she thought I was looking to book. Getting frustrated, I went back to my car to show her the reservation confirmation. That's when I see an email from Expedia saying they can't accommodate me. The email was sent about 20 minutes before check in time. This is the second year in a row...
