「Lake View Motel is a real gem. We stayed in a room with a patio that faced the lake. The room was a nice size with a nice table for two, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was very clean, the staff friendly, and the motel is just 4 - 5 miles from downtown Cooperstown.」
「Austin was an amazing host with great dining recommendations in the area, including Cooperstown and the surrounding smaller towns, which were surprisingly good. Breakfast included lots of cereal, fruit, yogurt and other cold options, but the highlight was Austin's awesome waffles, his specialty. His real specialty is his getting to know guest's names, home towns, etc. and his friendly manner that encouraged lots of conversation at breakfast.
The rooms met my wife's high standard for...
「Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch.
The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet.
As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway.」
「Hotel reminded us of traveling in Europe. Old but interesting building. Rooms were small but clean. We could hear people in the hallway but guests were quiet and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on site which had decent food. Property overlooks a lake and we spent some time outside during sunset. Sabina was very friendly and informative. We would stay here again.」
「Feels like a newer hotel - very clean and excellent condition. Breakfast was great for an overnight hotel. One complaint: No USB chargers or easily accessible AC plugs on bed stand (plugs were behind bed stand which we had to move). Highly unusual for a modern hotel not to have this, bring your charging brick and maybe a multi-plug extension cord.」
