"Wonderful Stay – Like Visiting Family in the Heart of NYC! We had such an amazing stay at Hotel St. James! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and so much fun to talk to. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everyone we met was kind, warm, and made us feel like part of the family. Whether we needed directions, recommendations, or just a good conversation after a long day, they were always there with a smile. Their hospitality made our NYC trip even more special. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and perfectly located—just steps from Times Square but still peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect spot for our family to unwind after exploring the city. "Solid 4-star property in a 5-star location. Perhaps not as posh as some other properties in the area, but for what we paid we feel it was far and away the best value. Very cool 30's - 50's vintage vibe. Rooms not big but clean and with a comfie bed and climate controls. On-site dining not mind-blowing but good enough. Staff friendly and accommodating, and a big plus for us was a very effective, very speedy elevator system. In summation, a lot going for this place, but the best part, bar none, is the location! It is literally across the street from the Richard Rodgers theater (where Hamilton is playing) and next door to the Lena Horne theater (where Six is playing). Pretty much all other on-Broadway shows are within walking distance, and Times Square is less than 100 yards away. If you are looking for a reliable, comfortable, clean hotel in a nearly perfect location that won't break the bank, this is about as good as it gets."
