「We had an early morning flight, so we opted to stay in Detroit and dine at the hotel. The hotel’s a cool remodeled fire house and bank , the location was conveniently situated just off the highway. The staff was exceptional, and the food was really good. What more could I possibly want?! Additionally, as a platinum member at Expedia , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated.」

It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. 「After we unpacked and settled into our room our air conditioner ceased working. We were moved to another room that was not even half as nice as the one we left. So we were inconvenience and had to repack for our room transfer because our air conditioner didn't work and we were given a much smaller room with a terrible view of rooftops filled with mechanical units on top of them. The staff was pleasant as they demoted us.」
