"DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON ARRIVAL!!! Deposit taken on arrival for more than the booking amount which seemed crazy. The staff didn’t take our card details so refund has not been made approx. 4 days after checkout. We have had to chase them to issue this refund!! Room was a good size but was showing its age, could do with a refurb. Kitchen utensils ok but old, provided on sachet of washing up liquid for 2 nights. Parking is hard to get!! I called ahead before booking and was advised there is plenty of free on street parking outside, this is true but it is restricted to 3hrs, not great if you want to be out all day as you will be back to the room many times to move your car…. Washing machine available outside the room which was very useful :). It is a cheap room and needs renovation. If you’re happy to make do while you stay it’s ok but likely to find better options in the area. "

"Beautiful room extremely comfortable, the best part of the experience with a magic sea view and enclosed balcony. Good location opposite the beach and close to a light rail station. Very nice breakfast. Cathy at breakfast is outstanding. Dinner menu limited but the steak was excellent"

"I needed to postpone due to ill health but the property wouldn’t help out which is extremely disappointing I had booked for a special occasion and now have nothing to show - all I asked for was a months or so postponement and days flexible Very poor "

"While the location was good. Thats pretty much what you pay for. The rooms are so outdated. There was no tv in the room, where the only air con unit was in the whole apartment. There was 1 locked door and one locked with chains. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy. When they came to fix the tv ( another issue) they advised they would get house keeping in the next morning to spray with bleach... i wasnt trilled with it smelling like bleach and asked if there was any other rooms to which i was told she would get back to me.... but never did. Id definitely spend that kind of money elsewhere next time"
