「Nice spacious and very clean room. Well facilitated with a tea tray and bottles of water. Room was immensely hot but thankfully able to open all the windows. Liked fresh cooked breakfast (as opposed to usual buffets) however I would love to see a better drinkable coffee being served and a little gripe - after requesting hard poached egg with no ‘snot’ my egg was totally snotty when I cut it and ran into my breakfast so didn’t eat much. 「Good parking for the area. Reception, restaurant and bar have had a referb but rooms are in need of complete referb. On arrival our bathroom had not been cleaned and in a bit of a state, ( not very happy 🤔) however we went to reception to complain, Stuart the receptionist was first class very polite and apologetic and found us another room. Good breakfast. Again I point out that the rooms are in need of a good overhaul.」

「Staff excellent. Setting beautiful. We stayed in the old house which had real charm, but was a little tired. Beyond the historic house is a conference centre, with spa. We ate an evening meal in the 1744 restaurant which was well priced and very tasty. 」

「Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable clean and well serviced. Other facilities were good (although vegetarian food was sorely lacking). Parking was easy. Would definitely use again. 」

「We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place. There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING 」
