I had a terrible experience at the time of check in. The staff that checked me in - Sharon Horrocks was extremely rude to me, there was no welcome or any of that kind of pleasantries, upon my approach to the reception desk , she sternly said to me " yes how can I help you' I politely answered that I am here to check in, then in her sternly looking manner and angry demeanour, she blatantly asked "whats your surname " , then I mentioned my surname, and in the same rude manner she shouted "spell it". When she finished typing in details in the computer, she asked me to check the details and sign the box. She then proceded and generated my key cards and then pointed to the lift area, saying the lifts are that side . As strange as this sounds , that was exactly my encounter in this hospitality outfit. I wanted to raise an immediate complaint there and then , I asked her for her name and she showed me her badge and to my greatest shock and dismay, she is the duty manager. I would like Holiday inn express to look into this matter. No other customer should experience such horror.
