「Great historic property and so beautiful!」

「Great place to stay! We had a quick trip and really enjoyed the clean rooms, comfortable beds, and other amenities!」

「The property was nice and well kept. The downtown area was nice and clean. It’s approximately 30 minutes from Clemson, nice little drive. There are lots of places to eat and shop in Anderson. We would stay there when in the area.」

Front desk personell not very professional - in the morning while I was trying to eat my breakfast they were having personal conversations discussing another employee loudly enough to be hear all over the lobby and breakfast room.」

「We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating; and being able to have lake views was amazing! If it were more private it would be perfect! It’s next to a shopping center which can be convenient, but takes away from the ambiance. What really detracts from this beautiful place is the train! There is a freight train that is right across from the hotel and it goes by at least 6-8 times during the day, night and wee hours of the morning! Which is not great when...

「Toilet in room didn’t work. Had to switch to another room in which all lights were not properly working and also bathroom sink water pressure was very low. No luggage carriers were available either」

「You could tell that they have tried to update the property but still needs a lot of work! For me it was the smoking rooms, even though ours was non-smoking you could smell the next room over smoking through the joining door, which I was very unhappy with!!」

「Arrived at check-in time and room was ready. Would prefer there be a better self park option. Valet is promoted. Bathroom in room had a sour smell from what appeared to be from a towel that was used to clean and not followed up with a second cleaning. So, can't say how clean the bathroom really was. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 2:30 AM in the morning, so we had to exit the building. That was not fun. Nice buffet breakfast offered with the cost of the room, but no sanitizer available...
