"My advice is DONT USE THIS PROPERTY. *No details of property until 24hrs before I arrived. Got photo's only to findout I was on the top floor with 3 flights of stairs . *No personal check in ALL done on line. * The area is ( quote by a taxi driver a bit dodgy although I found the people in the area to be very helpful & nice people. "El lugar es muy lindo y espacioso, además es muy iluminado. Todo está perfectamente equipado y muy limpio. El baño cuenta con toallas, shampoo, jabón, y de buena calidad. La lavadora funciona de maravilla y la cocina está muy bien equipada. Hay un refri pequeño q funciona muy bien. Lo único que cuesta un poco de trabajo es que el anfitrión conteste, tarda un poco y es escueto. Súper recomendable 👍"

"Extremely convenient location. Newly renovated with modern furnishings. The kitchen was useful. The management was flexible and helpful. The main disappointment was that the listing didn't include all taxes, but rather before check-in, we had to pay an extra 10 Euros for a tax that was not included in the price. Another slight inconvenience is that after registering with Expedia, one had to complete a new registration with Camelotels."

10/10 Excellent

"This is a beautiful hotel we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The historic room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice and very tasty which set us up for the day. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the main squares and attractions.. The hotel bar was also a great place to relax after a long day. There is also a wellness room which we would have loved to use but ran out of time."

"The check-in was easy and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and just what we expected. It is SO close to Grand-Place! We happened to be there the weekend of the Beer Festival. So a lot going on! Loved all the pubs and restaurants in the immediate area. My only complaint is the shower/tub combo. While the shower itself is very nice, there is no door. So the entire bathroom floor is soaking wet when you're done. We went through a lot of towels. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!"

"This hotel is really stylish and clean. I stayed in a premium room for 3 with my two teenagers and it was nice and big and nicely decorated. It was a nice base for the three nights. The air con is great and the WiFi was brilliant. I have dropped a star because: • The location is not great, I didn't realise at the time of booking, but the north area is a bit dodgy. From reading on, they have a bit of a problem with drugs and illegal immigrants in the area, so much that the police have admitted that they can't police it. My recommendation is to get a cab to the hotel and not to use Brussels Nord for any journeys if you have children with you. • The staff I dealt with were a bit... Flat... I don't know how else to describe it. Also, one person said we would be charged city tax at the end of our stay, but then I noticed payments going on my card at 1/2pm every day. When I asked, they said it was city tax. Then, they tried to charge me again when I left! • The garden bar wasn't open, and the main bar was not a nice place to sit in the day, especially with children (clean and nice decor, but really dark) Another tip, the fridge is a bit useless, so don't expect to get cold drinks from it."
