「Location of the hotel was great. Staff really excellent and very helpful and the breakfast was good. Rooms were very clean but too much fragrance / scent on the sheets and towels and in the room in general.」

「Clean, kitchen had everything that was needed. Sea views. Staff so helpful, above and beyond what was expected. Use of hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, turkish steam room and gym. Even a playroom for kids. Only issue was that the laundry was really expensive. A washing machine available to guests would have been useful even with a charge.」

「Overall very mediocre, but worth the price we paid. Two single beds pushed together is not a queen/ king. They keep spreading apart. Breakfast buffet not good and expensive. Bag storage available if your flight gets in before check in or leaves after check out. Amenities and towels available so you can shower and change. Helpful.」

「The hotel is in a great location for exploring Ponta Delgada. We were very comfortable in our room with the added luxury of a small terrace with climbing vines for reading and sitting in the sun. The breakfast was wonderful which included many options, all delicious. The restaurant and cafe were great also. 「Would recommend to all travellers! The receptionists (including Host- the cat) are extremely friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and you can’t beat the location. Beds are very comfortable and you have all the necessary utensils to cook your own meal in the room if you want. Would absolutely stay here again! 」

「The property was well maintained and both the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the koi ponds and gardens was lovely. The food at the restaurant and bar was very good and diverse. The on site parking made traveling easy and its location in city center made exploration of Ponta Delgada a breeze.」

「Nice hotel just off of the main road. Located across from where boats dock and cruise ships come into harbor. About a 15 minute walk to the town center. Convenient if you are seeing the island by a car. Self parking available and very convenient. Great breakfast. Go early for a window seat. Great bar on the 7th floor with views of the ocean. I skipped the spa as there is a capacity limit and they suggest you make a reservation. Hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. Room was nice. Comfy bed....

「This is a very nice but basic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Cleaning and breakfast staff are excellent. The lady at the front desk(Maria?) seemed bothered when we asked for something. Everything seemed like an imposition on her. Otherwise, everyone else was fantastic. Good breakfast included and plenty of free parking. Easy 10 min walk to the centre of town and most sights. Rooms are a good size but the bathrooms were small and needed more hooks to hang towels. Overall, a great stay.」
