We are sorry to hear that you didn't liked the room you reserved, and we believe your general rating is unfair, since giving a rating of 2, means that you have been treated unfairly or badly; or given a different product or a defective product, and it has not been so. The room you have reserved has been delivered to you in perfect and excellent conditions. Everything was in order, in good conditions, working perfectly, in immaculate and excellent hygienic condition, you have received an excellent and fair treatment, just like all our other beloved customers, and you have been delivered the product you have reserved, not an inferior, nor a superior product, but the exact same that you reserved, and that is what must be valued.
First of all, you choose the establishment and you can see the price before booking, that has always been the case, in all agencies. The price, as well as all the information and photos, have been presented to you, before you made the reservation.
Second, you have made your reservation in Barcelona, during the most important dates and events of the year, when at the same time, there were 2 International Electronic Music Festivals, 2 Congresses, 1 International Symposium and 2 Concerts of 2 of the most famous rock bands in the world (events that have been postponed due to the pandemic and they got overlapped).
Because of that, the prices in the first half of June in Barcelona were through the roof, in all the establishments in the city, and you chose to come on the most expensive and important dates of the year, and you complain about the high price... And again, you have been presented with the price before making the reservation, you have seen it, you have accepted it, and you have paid it, at the time of making the reservation. The price was not hidden or risen after that, for you to have this kind of reaction...
If you don't like something or it seems expensive, you don't take it in the first place.
But, you don't go, and you stay for a week, and on the last day you ask for a discount because it seemed expensive.
It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a steak, eating it, and at the end of it all, after having eaten and enjoyed it, you ask for a discount saying that the steak was expensive and/or you didn't like it...
Third, we are not misleading anyone. Since we are a small guesthouse and we don't have many rooms and we have all the photos of all our rooms, posted online. In your case, your room was the one from the photos 2, 8 & 9. As you can see from the photos, each room is different from the other (one room has the bathroom on the left, another has it on the right, etc...) and at the same time they’re the same, since they’re from the same category, all room have the same facilities, size, equipment, services, conditions, amenities, etc.
