If you’re looking fir ez access to shopping, transpo, nightlife . This hotel is it. However, being that Im older now abd w a different mind frame, I chose a room in the back of hotel as it can be VERY LOUD w nightlife at NIGHT. They also have their own security in front so that people do not stray onto the property. That was a plus.

The bad. Very loud from the bars outside. Hard to sleep. Our room did not have hot water to the shower. Only the sink. The shower was plugged. And the floor would fill with water. The staff was not really friendly. Though the doorman was great. The good. Right in the middle of the market. Transportation is very accessible. Food is everywhere. As well as souvenirs and entertainment. Walking distance to the Grand Palace.

It was a good stay over all, the only downside is that with the night market right at the doorstep, it was noisy at night until approximately 3 am

The hotel is right on Khaosan road so very busy and noisy but to be expected. View from the rooftop is good but the roof and pool closes at 9pm. The beds are uncomfortable and the hotel is run down. The room does not come with a closet to hang clothes and only one large (dirty and overused) towel per person, no hand or face towels. The toilets don’t flush very well either.

考山路性价比之选.
酒店位于考山路内, 出门就是7-11及各种嗨翻天的酒吧, 超级便利; 酒吧的噪音问题, 几乎没有, 倒是隔壁房间的大音量电视声蛮明显的, 看个人习惯吧; 想在考山路嗨的小伙伴, 这是性价比之选哦.

Used to be great, now not so much
Been staying here for a few years now, and used to give the place 4-5 stars, but recently it seems they haven’t scaled up well - internet barely works, hot water supply is very low pressure, and breakfast buffet, which used to be a bargain, has been priced up beyond reason. A shame, hope things improve soon, otherwise I might have to find a new favourite hotel.

Basic but nice hotel - great price!
Nice clean hotel, rooms are basic but comfortable. Located on Khao San road so if you choose to stay here expect loud crowds outside your front door! We could not hear any noise from the room we were in but I would imagine this is not the case in rooms all over the hotel!

Roaches check in and don’t check out.
If you don’t mind cockroaches in your room litter around the pool area and no towels available as well. You might like it. Front desk seems to all hate tourist and the jobs they have dealing with them at the desk. Palace my butt more like roach motel.

The location was right in the middle of all the action. It was busy by night and allowed us to fully experience everything that Bangkok has to offer. Would come back again! May not be good for families with young children, as there are usually parties that are quite loud that go on till later on in the night.

Right in the heart of Bangkok, easy to walk to Grand palace and to ferry boats to get to mall and Jim Thompson house. Tours can be booked near hotel lobby, girl who is tour agent very friendly and helpful. Staff got me water whenever I needed it. Pickup for trabsfers right from hotel for mini buses. It was a bit noisy at night but its to be expected. They put me in a quieter room at back. Pool was very nice and clean, also had a bar at pool which is nice.
