「Cool guesthouse kind of property. No traditional "front desk" or on site workers but the owners own the restaurant across the street and pizza place downstairs and everyone helps with everything and they are all great. Awesome breakfast in the restaurant and the staff is really helpful and engaging and care. I would totally stay there again. No elevator, and top floor rooms can get kind of toasty in the summer with no ac, but not a big deal for us.」

「The Huntsman in is a nice hotel with pink hallways. Our room was big and clean but the best part about the Huntsman is the restaurant attached is really, really good and has great staff. We liked being a bit out of town - just a 10-15 walk into the busy busy center of Galway.」

「The staff were excellent and extremely accommodating. On the other hand- the hotel itself is tired, old, outdated and dirty. To make matters worse, there was a huge horse race (which I wasn’t aware of) and guests there were out of control. As I was walking into the lobby with my family to return to our room, a large fist fight breaks out in the lobby where a bloodied combatant is thrown out the front door.
